Well as the world cup gets closer i thought id make a world cup thread...where we can discuss the world cup!!! ( If you dont wanna hear anything, then email to be removed from the list)

well i guess id start with last night and rate each player with scathing assessments

Schwarzer - What is there to say...i want his babies (10/10)

Emerton - Continues to frustrate with his lack of brain. Worried bout his defensive capabilities at right back as our right side will be tested alot in the first two games againt Nakamura and Ronaldinho. Still at least he didnt wander off onto other parts of the field like he usually does (5)

Moore - Thank God hes back for the world cup. The rock at the back. Provides experience and and a calming influence on the back four. Despite Van Horse scoring still marked him pretty well (6)

Neill - Hmmm...didnt notice him much...(5)

Chipperfield - Against one of the most skillful players in Europe (Henry said in an interview that Van Persie was the most skillful player at Arsenal) he performed quite well. Didnt let people in behind him (8)

Grella - VINCENZO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Along with Culina, the player whos improved the most under Hiddink. Screens the back four and is comfortable with the ball at his feet. Pressures all over the field, does the things that go unnoticed and sacrifices his own personal glory for the rest of the team. Altho last night, Holland was getting too much room when the ball was being half cleared by the defence on the edge of the penalty area (6.5)

Wilkshire - Given his big chance by Hiddink and its fair to say it couldnt have gone any worse. Looked out of his depth against Snjeider etc. Sent off...man id hate to be him right now (2)

Culina - "My Jason" (thanks dave) worked out hard...was a hard game for him to get forward as had alot of defensive duties (6)

Bresciano - same as Culina ... would like to see him get into more shooting position and let fly (6)

Sterjovki - Personally i dont think he is up to standard...doesnt provide any spark and and the formation we play, the forward 3 players must be able to win us the game. (4)

Viduka - Played well up front alone I thought. He looks in good form and ready for the world cup and to smash some japs. Pls dont let him take penalties in the world cup (6.5)

Cahill - What a legend. We need him to be fit for the opener. With him on the field we will always have a chance to win. Has the heart of a lexington orgasm (i dont know what that means) (100000)
